For the second week in a row, a team from the Sun Belt has beaten an opponent from the SEC. Yesterday, Western Kentucky defeated Kentucky 32-31 in overtime, and last week Louisiana-Monroe defeated Arkansas 34-31 also in overtime.
For the first time, teams from the Sun Belt have beaten opponents from the SEC twice in the same season, let alone in consecutive weeks. Yesterday, Louisiana-Monroe almost pulled off that feat single-handedly, but loss to Auburn 31-28 in overtime.
