Oklahoma’s 63-21 demolition of rival Texas, marked the third time since 2000 that Oklahoma scored 60+ points over an AP ranked Texas team. That’s also a record. It’s the most times a team has scored 60+ points over the same AP ranked team.

- Texas has given up 60+ points four times as an AP ranked team; the most ever. Three of those games were to Oklahoma… Brigham Young has given up 60+ points three times as an AP ranked team.
- In 2008, there were six games in which a team scored 60+ points over an AP ranked team; the most in a single season. This year there have already been three such games (counting BU-WVU as one game).
- The AP’s No. 2 team has allowed 60+ points on three occasions. No other teams ranked in the AP’s top 5 have ever allowed 60+ points in a game.
- In 2008, Oklahoma had three 60+ point games over AP ranked opponents. No other school has ever scored 60+ points over an AP ranked opponent more than once in a season.
